Prayers at the beginning and ending of the fast
wa bisaumi ghadin nawaito min shahri ramadhan
I intend to fast in the morning of the month of Ramadan.
Allahumma innee laka sumtu wa-bika aa-mantu
wa ‘alaika tawakkaltu wa ‘alaa rizqika aftartu
O Allah, I observed the fast for Your sake. I believed in
You and I put my trust inYou and I end the fast with
what You have provided me.
